Q: How long does a cut and style appointment typically take in Amsterdam? A: For a standard women’s cut and styling session at our Amsterdam location, you should allow around 60 to 75 minutes. If you’re opting for longer hair, more complex styling or layered cuts, the time may extend to 90 minutes. For men’s cutting and styling we generally allow 30 to 45 minutes. We’ll always confirm the expected time when you book your appointment.

Q: How often should I have my hair cut or styled to maintain the look? A: To maintain your hairstyle’s shape and health, we recommend a touch-up cut every 6 to 8 weeks for most styles. If you have longer hair or are growing out layers, a stylist check every 10 to 12 weeks might be sufficient. Regular styling sessions (blow-dries, finish styling) can be scheduled every 4-6 weeks or before special occasions to keep hair looking its best.

Q: What styling products and finishes do you use after the cut? A: After your cut, we style your hair using top-quality products from Kevin Murphy and Noir Stockholm — for example a smoothing serum, heat-protect spray, volumising mousse or texturising spray depending on your hair type and desired finish. We always personalise the product selection to your hair’s needs, so you leave our Amsterdam salon with a flawless look and know which at-home products (from the same brands) will help maintain it.
